There are not too many industries that do not require years of experience and know how in order to perform or operate at optimal levels.  The home automation and custom home theater business is an example of one where this is particularly so.

With high tech equipment and electricity intertwined in interior housing and structure, one can only imagine the value of experience.  Perhaps the technical nature of sound and video systems provides the backdrop to needing detailed knowledge that must be kept up to date while also understanding different nuances to decades of change.  Some systems are still around and often times blended with newer components necessitating knowledge of both.

Sound and Vision Design enjoys almost twenty five years of such experience that gets woven into its day to day interaction with its clientele.  Installations are as important as the equipment itself since every installation of sound and audio must fit into the internal walls , ceilings, or floors that either already exist or are being constructed with the thought process of the added electronics.

There has not been much that Sound and Vision has not seen or tackled, yet with older homes possessing charm and history, there still represents challenges to the construction portion of running wires and burying them from unsightly visualization. Ideally, every home should have the forethought into incorporating a fully adaptable and wired home for system automation and home theaters however easier said than done.  The inherent costs that contractors and builders must shoulder is a pennies game and unless this is a custom request or the market gravitates to such construction “add ons”, this will only be a premium luxury.

Tampa construction builders are seeing hints of such advanced thinking in its higher end homes that builders such as Boger Homes constructs.  These tend to be larger square footage in size and more expensive in overall cost.

The days of large open showrooms with home theater samples are dwindling fast since showrooms are expensive real estate that hike the costs that only get passed onto the consumer.  Sound and Vision Design understands this facet of affordability and would rather use prior installations and jobs as their portfolio which is more poignant for prospective clients.  “I would rather see a real installation and system that has been put into a real place.  It gives us other ideas as to the creativity that has been incorporated of a given space and its design” mentioned a would be customer.  “This also enables better talking points when obtaining estimates” they add.
